Optical Sensor Integration
An optical sensor is only as useful as the instrument it becomes once mounted, aimed and wired into the world around it. Our integration practice takes photodiodes, spectrometers, pyrometers, imaging chips and fluorometers and turns them into permanent, repeatable instruments that never drift from the job you gave them.
We begin by understanding the physics of your scene - the colour temperature of a furnace, the haze of a flue, the glare of a production bay or the soft light that matters to a greenhouse. From that scene we choose the detector, the window, the housing, the cooling and the mounting geometry. Then we wire the whole node into your control layer so that the reading you see on a screen is the reading the sensor actually met.
Calibration is where a merely good node becomes a trustworthy one. We build reference checks into the design, so a drift is caught long before it reaches your records. And because a fleet matters more than a single unit, we register every sensor on the ring with an address, a schedule and a history. When the fleet is huge, that discipline keeps the entire line of sight honest.

Photonics Test Systems
A beam that promises a wavelength, a power and a stability has to be measured before it may be trusted. Our photonics test systems put laser and fibre modules through benches that answer with numbers rather than assumptions. We measure output power, wavelength and linewidth, beam profile, divergence, return loss and the small shimmer of drift that betrays a tired emitter.
The systems come in three shapes. A fixed bench suits a production line that audited every unit with the same insistence. A research rig gives your engineers the freedom to sweep parameters and log the field of a prototype. And a rugged portable case lets a technician visit a fat cable spline or a ceiling run in the field and bring the lab certainty with them over a truck and a stairwell.
Each bench is built around your pass and fail rules, so the verdict is spelled out in terms an operator or a customer can defend. We also log the whole run for traceability, because a photonic claim lives or dies on the paper trail beneath it. When a source that must stay within a narrow corridor shows tooth, the bench is what proves it before the failure reaches a product or a deadline.

Optical Inspection Platforms
Inspection is the art of looking at a thousand identical things and catching the one that is not like the others. An optical inspection platform does that without tiring and without lowering its standard over an afternoon. We build platforms that sweep seals, coatings, weld lines, lenses, boards and glass for the defect a nominally perfect line would otherwise wave through.
The design draws on structured light, reflectometry, phase measurement and plain but ruthless illumination. Lighting is never an afterthought; it is chosen to make a scratch announce itself, a bubble catch the side light, or a coating thin out in a tell-tale gradient. We align the geometry so the camera reads the surface from the angle that hides nothing.
What separates a useful platform from a noisy one is repeatability. We tune the thresholds against known good and known bad samples until the verdict is stable, then we close the loop into your quality system. A good part passes every time; a fault is named with confidence and a coordinate. The result is a mill that ships less doubt and a record you can turn to after a complaint, a recall or a routine audit without embarrassment.

Environmental Light Monitoring
Light is more than illumination; it is data about where a place should be bright, where it should stay dark and where human effort must respect a natural rhythm. Environmental light monitoring reads that data over days, weeks and seasons, and turns it into a foundation a planner, a lobbyist or a facilities manager can trust.
Our arrays measure horizontal and vertical illuminance at a site, glare and obtrusive light from a fixture, sky glow that hides the stars from an observatory, and the diffuse and reflected light that shapes a workspace or a habitat. We also follow the clock - how the hours of useful daylight run through a year, where a setback throws shade, and whether a new façade has begun to bounce municipal light into a neighbour window.
The value grows with patience, because a single evening proves little and a year proves a great deal. We install corridors that run unattended, guard the logger against weather and theft, and present the record in reports that compare one month to the next and one season to the one before. When a complaint about light arrives, or a planning officer asks for evidence, the numbers are ready to speak for the site.

Laser Safety Systems
A laser beam is precise and powerful, and it never asks whether a person is in the way. Laser safety is the engineering that keeps a working source inside the corridor you intend and outside the people who share the building. We design and install interlocks, guarding, sensor watchdogs, beam stops and signage that turn a class four source into a controlled, defensible workplace tool.
The heart of a safety system is the interlock circuit: the door that opens as the beam drops, the cover that fails closed, the emergency stop that does not depend on a switch being remembered. We spec every sensor and vote the circuit so that a single failed component drives the system to the safe state rather than past it. Then we prove it under a simulated fault, because a safety claim is only worth what a broken test still honours.
Alongside the hardware we leave the paperwork an auditor will want: the hazard zone drawing, the interlocks tested, the alignment rules and the training note for the operator. We also keep the system live with you, so that when a process changes, an interlock moves or a new laser arrives, the fence is redrawn before anyone runs a single risky shift.

Illumination Control Software
Every lamp and every sensor on a site should answer one calm schedule instead of a hundred crowded switches. Illumination control software brings drivers, dimmers, photocells and occupancy detectors under a single logic, so light shows up when it is wanted, dims when the sun helps, and switches off the moment the room is done with it.
We write the wiring of control around your daylight and your work rhythm. Ditch lights follow the season; display lighting holds a level that shows a product well; safety paths come up at dusk and never wait for an emergency; and a greenhouse or a workspace responds to the sky it actually has rather than to a clock that ignores a cloud. The schedule is something your own team can edit, so the building stops being hostage to a single engineer memory.
The quieter half of the work is watching for the earlier symptom. A driver that flickers, a lamp that dims too soon, a photocell that has gone stale - the software flags it before the corridor fails and a shift stumbles in the dark. We keep near the code after handover, updating the schedules as your seasons change, so a lighting save this year does not become a frustration next year.
